Backstamped Paris R.P 15.00 Hrs, 27th February 1937; Dakar Senegal 1st March 1937 and Freetown Sierra Leone 15th March 1937.

Special Company Cover, bears typed Via Paris & Dakar.

The cover was serviced by Francis J Field. Paris -Dakar(French Senegal) - Conakry(French Guinea) - then by Mail Boat to Freetown(Sierra Leone).

Carried on a 2nd service to Conakry, so does not have the Air France Official red First Flight Cachet.

This Service was not announed by the British Post Office until 3rd April 1937, This cover is probably unique to Freetown.

Pristine condition.  Very Rare First Flight Cover.
