In 1964 Chichester was inspired to challenge the time taken by The Wool Clippers, from Australia to Great Britain in the early 19th century, of 123 days. He set himself the target of 100 days to complete the passage. He also wrote a book "Along The Clipper Way" which charts the voyages taken by the 19th Century Wool Clippers returning from Australia. Pristine condition, unaddressed.
