These covers were only issued to Children who entered a Blue Peter Conpetition. The cover came with instructions on how it should be used, and did not mention that there was the Blue Peter Special Postmark, or how to obtain this postmark. The instructions advised recipients to hand write your address on the envelope and use their local Post Office. The BBC & Royal Mail would not release or sell any blank covers. Hence there not many covers with the Blue Peter Postmark & not a handwritten address. Pristine condition, typed label address.
